It will have happened to you at least once in your life to have to extract images or an audio included in a PowerPoint presentation.

To do this, simply follow these steps:

  1. Save the file in PowerPoint using the .pptx extension (to do so, you need to open Microsoft Office 2007 or a later version and click on “Save as” and select “PowerPoint Standard Presentation PPTX”).
  2. Rename the file extension you just saved from .pptx to .zip (just do right click -> Rename)
  3. Open the newly renamed .zip file, you will see many folders inside, just check inside them to find the files you are looking for. Usually the image files are inside the “media” folder.
