Some screenshots are still in Italian because of a temporary issue with the software.

They will be taken put into English and updated into the article very soon.

For some years now, videos with resolutions higher than Full HD (1080p) have begun to appear on YouTube, namely 4K (the one that interests us) and 1440p (a halfway between 1080p and 4K).

The problem is that there are still no softwares available in order to download 4K videos from YouTube (the current programs only allow up to 1080p, even when we want to download a 4K video).

The solution is brought to us by 4K Video Downloader, a free software that has the main goal of allowing us to download 4K videos from YouTube (as well as in all other existing resolutions).

This is the page where you can download 4K Video Downloader.

Once installed on your PC, here is how to download 4K videos from YouTube:

eg: I want to download the video Emirates: #HelloJetman with 4K resolution.

Copy the video URL (the one you see in the top bar, in this case https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VPvKl6ezyc) and open 4K Video Downloader.

Click directly on Paste Link:

At this point it takes about 5-10 seconds before the software shows all the download options.

Choose (obviously) the 4K resolution:

Now the download begins:

Once the download is finished you can finally watch the video, which has been saved in the folder that you have previously chosen (image 3):

N.B.: 4K videos take up way more space on disk than Full HD (1080p) videos, so make sure you have an internet connection with a good bandwidth or otherwise the download will take forever to finish.
